The Egyptian Museum

Not surprisingly, this museum contains the world's greatest collection of Egyptian antiquities, including the incredible set of objects discovered in the tomb of King Tut. There's not much more to add about the museum... if you go to Cairo, don't miss it! Here are some photos we took on our tour.

After the museum, we visited a papyrus store and a jewelry market and got our only real taste of being with Egyptian people one-on-one. Then it was back to boat... our entire excursion included only about 10 hours on Egyptian soil.
